编者说明
一、《嘉兴统计年鉴—2002》是一部全面反映嘉兴全市经济和社会发展情况的资料性年刊。本书收录了全市、市区和各县（市、区）2001年经济和社会各方面大量的统计数据，以及历史重要年份和近二十年的全市、市区主要统计数据。
二、全书内容分为15章，即：1.综合；
2.人口与从业人员； 3.人民生活与物价指数；4.固定资产投资； 5.城市建设与环境保护；6.财政； 7.农业； 8.工业； 10.建筑业； 11.运输与邮电；
11.国内贸易、对外经济贸易与旅游；
12.金融与保险；13.卫生与体育；14.科技、教育和文化；15.附录：横向市县和长江三角洲主要经济指标。各章末附有《主要统计指标解释》。
三、资料中所使用的度量衡单位均采用国际统一标准计量单位。
四、本年鉴的资料来源大部分来自年度市统计局和市有关部门（单位）统计报表，一部分来自抽样调查。对过去发表的统计数据进行了核实,特别是对1995~2000年国内生产总值数据根据2001年核算制度的口径进行了调整。凡与本年鉴数据有出入的，以本年鉴为准。
五、本年鉴部分数据合计数或相对数由于单位取舍不同而产生的计算误差均未作机械调整。
六、本年鉴各表中，对表中指标的注解在该表下方。凡带续表的资料，对指标的注解一律在最前一张下方。
七、本年鉴表中的符号使用说明:“-”表示数据不足本表最小单位数；“空格”表示该项统计指标数据不详或无该项数据；“#”表示其中的主要项；“*”或“①”表示本表下有注解。
PREFACE
I. Jiaxing
Statistical Yearbook 2001 is an annual statistics publication, which covers very
comprehensive data in 2001 and some selected data series in historically
important years and the most recent twenty years at Whole Municipality level and
Urban District and local levels of coutry, city and distrct directly , and
therefore, reflects various aspects of Whloe Municiplity’s social and economic
development.
II. The book contains the following fifteen parts, l. General
Survey ； 2. Population and Employment；3. People’s Livelihood and Price
Indices；4. Investment in Fixed Assets；5. General Survey of Cities；6. Government
Finance；7. Agriculture； 8. Industry；9. Construction； 10. Transport, Post and
Telecommunication Services； 11. Domestic Trade, Foreign Trade and Economic
Cooperation and Tourism； 12. Banking and Insurance； 13. Culture, Sports and
Public Health； 14. Education, Science and Technology；15.
III. The units of
measurement used in this book are internationally standard measurement
units.
IV. The major data sources of this publication are obtained from
annual local government Statistic Department and other’s government department
statistical reports, and some from sample surveys. The statistics especially
1995 to 2000 GDP in former statistical yearbook have been already checked. The
data in Jiaxing statistical yearbook 2002 shall be regarded as authentic
ones.
V. Statistical discrepancies due to rounding are not adjusted in
this yearbook.
VI.The notes concerning the whole table are placed at the
upper part of the table, while the notes concerning individual indicators are
placed at the lower part. If the table is a continued one, the footnotes are
placed in the last page.
VII. Notations used in this yearbook:
“ ...”
indicates that the figure is not large enough to be measured with the smallest
unit in the table；
“ (blank) ” indicates that the data not available；
“ #
” indicates the major items of the total；
